As 2024 draws to a close, we took some time to chat to the team about what they’ve been working on lately and what BIG WINS they’ve delivered for their clients in 2024.

Kylie Olden, Data & Finance Administrator

“At the moment, I’m doing three data governance pieces, one for Douglas Shire Council, one for Kempsey Shire Council and one for Tablelands Council. Which means we pull all of their data out of their business systems, analyse it and find out what’s working and what’s not, helping to create efficiencies in their business and save them critical time and money. It’s a huge job, but I love that we can create real impact for our customers by tweaking their data structures.”

Selena Ferguson, Waste Consultant:

“I’ve been preparing a whole bunch of onsite operational purpose exemption reports, which is an annual report that most of our Qld landfill clients need to submit to the regulator to make sure they are properly capturing their exempt waste levy tonnes. Having the team at Resource Hub come in and not only make sense of the data but also create the report for them takes a huge headache off each Waste Manager and Coordinators plate. I love the fact we get to make the complex simple for our clients, so they can get back to doing what they do best.”

“I don’t want to play favourites… but we just came back from a training day at Singleton Council and it was by far one of my favourite experiences from the time I’ve been at Resource Hub.
