With over 15 years of experience in Waste and Resource Recovery, Lacey leads Resource Hub with a unique blend of financial expertise and deep industry knowledge. As a CPA and former industry CFO, she is dedicated to delivering practical, targeted solutions for clients across Australia, including supporting consultancy partners and government bodies.
Lacey is recognised as one of Australia’s leading authorities on waste levy regulation, with specialist expertise spanning Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and Western Australia. Her work has been instrumental in shaping data and process standards across the sector, helping operators and regulators alike improve compliance, manage risk and streamline operations.
Throughout her career, Lacey has worked extensively with entrepreneurial groups, local governments, recycling and resource recovery operations, and commercial waste facilities. Her experience covers corporate services leadership, finance, systems improvement, business transformation, and high-risk regulatory environments.
Outside of work, Lacey is known for her ever-growing collection of bright red shoes.

For Chloe, no two days are ever the same. Her role involves everything from reviewing supplier and client data for accuracy, resolving weighbridge issues and system faults, to developing procedures for waste levy compliance and operational contingencies. She works closely with Council staff to tailor documentation and resolve regulatory challenges, while managing project timelines and providing clear guidance to transfer station and landfill teams. Chloe leads with a practical approach, delivering fit-for-purpose solutions grounded in legislation, operational realities and real-world experience. She also provides leadership and support to the team, helping ensure everyone feels confident and capable in their work.
Chloe holds a Master of Environment (Advanced) in Environmental Science from ANU, with a background in ecology and conservation biology. Her passion for data analysis, communication and compliance led her through roles in federal and state government, where she developed a strong focus on best-practice regulation, compliance, education and enforcement. Since entering the waste industry in 2019, Chloe has worked extensively within the waste levy framework, developing data standards, collaborating nationally on reporting consistency, and building deep expertise in levy compliance implementation.
Outside of work, Chloe has a unique career story. In a former life, she was a trade-qualified vehicle spray painter, working for some of the highest quality repair shops in her area. While she had to leave for health reasons, she credits that experience for her ability to feel equally at home on-site in hi-vis or suited up for corporate meetings.

Oscar’s role covers a wide mix of auditing, training, and waste levy exemption work, with a particular focus on NSW. His projects regularly take him across Australia, from Tasmania to regional NSW and into major capital cities for both project delivery and business development. When he’s not on the road, Oscar works remotely from his home office near Yamba, NSW, providing expert support to clients and the Resource Hub team.
Oscar has worked in the waste industry since 2012, starting as a Cadet Environmental Scientist with the City of Newcastle at Summerhill Waste Management Centre. His early work focused on environmental monitoring, compliance optimisation, and regulator liaison. After earning his Bachelor of Environmental Science & Management from The University of Newcastle, he progressed into operational and senior management roles with Maitland, Newcastle, Wollongong and Upper Hunter Shire Councils, leading teams across a full spectrum of facility sizes and operations.
In 2023, Oscar joined Resource Hub after spending two years travelling Australia with his wife and two children in their Landcruiser and caravan. Even while travelling, he continued working remotely for councils and Resource Hub. Now based near Yamba, Oscar is approaching his two-year anniversary with the team.
Outside of work, Oscar says his spirit animal is a Labrador. He loves food, any sport with a ball, and is always up for a good chat.

A day in the life for Kate includes chatting with clients, writing reports, visiting sites, and exploring how to better track products like mattresses across different states. Her work helps inform evidence-based recommendations that improve systems and drive meaningful change in the waste sector.
Kate brings broad experience across sustainability roles, including ecommerce logistics, commercial energy, circular economy advisory, and waste management. She holds a Master of Sustainability from the University of Sydney, a Bachelor in International Relations, and has specialist training in Life Cycle Assessment.
Outside of work, Kate is making up for lost travel time post-COVID, with one country already visited this year and more trips planned.

Emily’s workday blends a focus on internal operations with client-facing projects, drawing on her background in weighbridge software, customer experience leadership, and operational data analysis. With a passion for improving systems and creating streamlined processes, she enjoys finding collaborative solutions that help both colleagues and clients feel supported and confident in their work.
Since joining Resource Hub, Emily has brought a strong problem-solving mindset and a wealth of operational knowledge to the team. A kiwi based in Brisbane, she has spent the past few years leading customer experience teams and diving deep into data and process improvement. Her expertise in system efficiency and collaborative project delivery underpins her approach to building routines that enhance both internal workflows and client outcomes.
In her spare time, Emily enjoys playing Nintendo online with her nieces back in New Zealand, getting lost in a good book, cross-stitching, and playing family golf with her partner and their four-year-old.

Samantha’s day kicks off early, checking emails and actioning immediate tasks before diving into a mix of internal meetings, client support and project work. Balancing both remote administration and consulting, she splits her time between assisting remote clients with waste levy returns and support tasks, and working on projects like developing new training modules, completing OSOP amendments and coordinating volumetric surveys.
Since joining Resource Hub, Samantha has brought fresh energy and expertise to the team. This is her first full-time role after completing a double degree in Environmental Sustainability (Arts) and Logistics & Supply Chain Management (Business) at Swinburne University in Melbourne. Her academic background gives her a strong foundation in both environmental systems and operational processes, which she applies daily in her consulting work.
Outside of work, Samantha is a keen runner and has proudly completed two half-marathons.

Megan’s days at Resource Hub are always full of variety. She manages event schedules and logistics to ensure the team stays engaged with the industry, handles onboarding for new team members, and often finds herself sourcing creative marketing materials to keep things fresh. She’s also a key support for the wider team, always checking in to make sure everyone feels healthy, supported and enjoys coming to work.
When Megan joined Resource Hub in July 2021, she was completely new to the waste industry. Since then, she’s grown alongside the business, helping shape the team culture from the ground up.
Outside of work, Megan is about to begin participating in a platypus monitoring survey, contributing to important research by recording platypus activity and behaviour in the wild.

Outside of work, life is full of beautiful chaos with three young kids and a busy household. To balance it all, Jessica loves a quiet night in with Rooibos tea, freshly baked cookies, and a few episodes of Alone or her favourite reno shows. With over 2.5 years in the waste industry and 24 years in hospitality, Kylie brings a strong service mindset and a calm, practical approach to her work. She’s the go-to person when clients need fast, accurate support across systems and processes.

As Project Manager, Chloe is currently focused on delivering Resource Hub’s online training portal. Her day involves juggling multiple moving parts, from coordinating content creation and avatar recordings to troubleshooting resourcing challenges and keeping projects on schedule. She enjoys collaborating with the team to create effective learning experiences, while continuously refining processes to make systems more efficient and scalable.
Chloe has worked in the waste industry since 2013, starting in logistics and fleet management with Veolia, where she managed driver compliance, route optimisation and after-hours support. She then moved into project management roles with Mandalay Technologies, delivering major software implementations and data migrations for councils and clients like Suez and Brisbane City Council. Chloe has also co-owned a small waste business subcontracting for one of Australia’s largest waste companies, and operated a fleet of tipper trucks servicing the Greater Brisbane area, managing everything from contract negotiations to project delivery. With experience across both operational and technology sides of the industry, Chloe brings a well-rounded perspective to her work.
Outside of work, Chloe enjoys slowing down from the fast pace of project life by spending time outdoors with her kids, exploring and enjoying the little moments.

Jessica keeps the financial side of Resource Hub running smoothly. Her role covers everything from finance and payroll to HR support, supplier management, levy returns and staff queries. She handles NSW Waste Levy Returns and assists with QLD levy processing as needed, managing accounts, processing creditor forms and resolving queries to keep daily operations on track.
With 13 years of experience in commercial resource recovery and concrete recycling, Jessica brings a strong understanding of both operational and corporate finance in the waste industry. Her background includes system training, data analysis, accounts payable, multi-company group structures, ASX experience and recyclable exporting. She has worked alongside Lacey for many years across various businesses, bringing trusted expertise to the team.
Outside of work, Jessica’s weekends often revolve around her young son’s competitive golf, spending time with her three kids and dog, and enjoying life as a proud dual citizen after moving to Australia from New Zealand.

Before joining Resource Hub, Amelia spent five years working in a gatehouse at a landfill and quarry, gaining valuable hands-on experience with a wide range of materials and processes involved in recycling and waste disposal. That frontline experience gives her a strong practical understanding that supports her data and finance work today.
Known for her optimism, sense of humour, strong will and love of problem-solving, Amelia brings positive energy and a solutions-focused approach to every task.
